4 minutes by bicycle, 15 minutes walk to Miyajidake Shrine and Miyaji Beach（1km）.

Guest house Matsuo consists of an old folk house and a new house in Fukutsu-city, where you can enjoy the relaxing time near the sea and mountain, which are both within walking distance.

For use by 1 to 4 people, 

Japanese-style room (3 futon) x 2 

Western-style room (2 mattresses) x 2

Western-style room (2 beds) x 1

are available. 

For use by 5 to 15 people,

renting out of an old folk house is also available.

Parking is available up to 4 cars,

and 5 bicycles are available too

(both free of charge). 

※ In order to pass on the future of the earth to our children, we ask guests to save the use of air conditioner. 

The owner is "TONE" who grew up in this town. After working as a newspaper and magazine reporter, she came back home from Tokyo due to the Fukushima nuclear accident in 2011.

She prepares maps around this area, and will inform you about,

ーnearby hot springs

ーrecommended foods

ーhighlights of the surrounding area

and so on. 

"TONE" understands German because she spent 9 to 11 years old in Germany and graduated German department at Sophia University. She also teaches English to the local children. 

There are also staffs who are good at Korean and Chinese. Please let us know if you need them.

In April 2021, Guest house Matsuo was born with the idea of "creating a place that continues to be open to what is currently happening in the society".

Since then, we have brought together Japan's "now" and the world's "now", and wished each other to move forward, even if only by one step or half a step. Those nights and encounters are our assets.
